Lyme Crime is a crime fiction festival that brings together crime & thriller writers, forensic specialists, police officers and lawyers for a series of inspirational and insightful panels and conversations at the iconic Marine Theatre, right by the sea in glorious Lyme Regis. It's a relaxed and fun weekend - a celebration of the UK's favourite fictional genre and a chance for crime fiction fans to meet their favourite authors.
The weekend includes Noir at the Bar, an evening in the Marine Theatre bar where crime writers (established, emerging and would-be) read from their work.
Lyme Regis Bookshop, the local independent bookseller, is on hand to sell participating authors' titles throughout the festival. And after each event, there's an opportunity to get them signed by panellists.
Lyme Crime is not just a festival. It's a community of writers and crime fiction fans. So we’d love to keep in touch. Join our mailing list for updates and news on forthcoming festivals and one-off events.
