Lyme Crime, a brand new crime & thriller festival, launched online 26th to 28th June 2020. The festival will return in person 24th to 27th June 2021 for a long weekend of panels and conversations at the Marine Theatre in historic Lyme Regis.
Lyme Crime aims to celebrate the best crime and thriller fiction and also to examine the real-world issues that find their way onto the page. So festival visitors will not only hear from authors, but also lawyers, judges, police officers and forensic specialists.
The weekend will include Noir at the Bar, an evening in a local pub where crime writers (established, emerging and would-be) will read from their work.
Serendip, the local independent bookseller, will be on hand to sell participating authors' titles throughout the festival.
You can enjoy all the 2020 online events on Lyme Crime's YouTube channel. Luke Jennings and Sarah Hilary also took part in the Big Book Weekend, during which Sarah quizzed Luke about hisKilling Eve books and he read from the latest, Die For Me.
